Let’s chop it up about stereotypes and barriers!!

So, as Black women, we have faced many barriers in our lifetime. So many barriers that it has somewhat been normalized. Society has also put us in a box full of beauty standards, so that’s another thing that we are carrying. As mature women, we are still growing and cultivating our growth mindset!! Because if we’re not growing, what are we doing??? The big question is, how do we break away from those societal standards? Get that growth mindset brewing by normalizing self-love & compassion in knowing that we are not in an age race! There are no limits on our journey to become whatever we believe is beautiful. The barriers that box us into certain careers, lifestyles, and societal norms are wack and… We are strong enough to break every chain with the way we think and perform mentally. Surround yourself with like-minded people! Reflect on your past and reframe your future! And lastly, love on you beyond the B.S. that society tries to bring to our counter height top tier table!!! 😀
